WOODSTOCK REFORMED CHURCH
"To know Christ and make him known"
Our mission is to know Jesus' love, peace, justice, healing, hospitality, mercy,
and resurrection life, and to share that with the world.

Woodstock Reformed Church is truly grateful to God for matching us with our next Pastor, the Reverend Kathryn Rivera Torea, who will be joining us in mid-March of 2026.
Pastor Kate is an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament and Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Pastor Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Wooster, in Wooster, Ohio, and a Master of Divinity Degree from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, in Louisville, Kentucky. Over the years she has studied literature, African American studies, feminist and womanist studies, multi-cultural and cross-cultural studies, adaptive change, pastoral coaching, and missional leadership. She specializes in small church ministry and particularly enjoys the “jack of all trades” aspect of this kind of work.
Although she grew up in western Ohio and has deep family roots in that state, God keeps calling Pastor Kate eastward. She, her husband, two cats, and posse of houseplants are overjoyed to be called by God to serve here in the glorious Catskills with the wonderful people of Woodstock Reformed Church. She looks forward to displaying the goodness of the Kingdom of God with the creative, joyful, faithful followers of Jesus (and friends of Jesus) who gather, work, and fellowship at WRC.
The community of the Woodstock Reformed Church is overjoyed to begin this partnership in Ministry and are grateful that the Reformed Church of America and the PC(USA) are Reformed Christian denominations that allow shared, ordained leadership across certain denominational lines.
